Know God

Throughout our lives, we have encountered people who know God, as well as those who sadly do not know or want to know God.  It does not take much for all of us to help others see, feel, and know God.  Below are just a few simple words we can all use to show others that we know God and that we want them to know Him, too. If they already know God, they will be blessed by these words as well.

Can you use some of these words this week to help others see and know God better?

“Thank You”, “I appreciate You”, “You are amazing”, “I believe in you”, “I’m here for you”,

“You're not alone”, “You have great ideas”, “You’re a wonderful person”, “You inspire me”,

“You’re a gift to others”, “I’m so happy when I am around you”, “I’m proud of you”, “You did it”

“I knew you could do it”, “I’m here for you”.

When we say these words to others, they will feel valued and loved by you, but more importantly, they should feel God's love in you, and this may be an opening for them to know God or to know God in an even more personal way.

It doesn’t take much to show others that you care and that they are special in your eyes and in God’s eyes.

I encourage all of us to make a point each day to bless others with these and other positive and caring words.

Pastor and Author John Maxwell has a great quote:

“I want people who don’t know God, but they know me, to wanna know God because they know me.”

I also want to include a slightly different, yet equally powerful, message.

“I want people who do know God, and also know me, to love God even more because they know me.”

Let us all be a part of helping others to KNOW GOD and KNOW GOD MORE.

God is Good, and We are Blessed!
