
Grantparent Mission Project

Grantparent is a School Ministries mission project of the Pacific Southwest District
of the LCMS.
The Grantparent Program is a School Ministries mission project of the Pacific Southwest District of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. The purpose of the Grantparent Program is to provide tuition assistance to K-12 students in urban and under-resourced schools in the Pacific Southwest District, enabling them to receive an excellent Lutheran education.

Many children living in urban communities need to hear the Good News of Jesus in a safe, nurturing environment, but they can't afford tuition to attend a Lutheran school.

That's where Grantparent comes in!

Your tax-deductible charitable donations make it possible for more children to attend a Lutheran school in the Pacific Southwest District. You can sponsor an elementary student for $900 a year ($75 monthly), a high school student for $1,800 a year ($150 monthly), or make a donation of ANY amount!
2026-2027 marks the 24th year of the Grantparent Mission Project - join us in helping make it possible for more students to attend a Lutheran school in the PSD!
