Celebrate Everything

We tend to apply pressure on ourselves at the start of every new year without knowing at the time this is what may indirectly be happening. Many of us, like myself, design a vision board, to-do list, bingo card, task list, or whatever it might be to hold ourselves accountable for a select number of goals we set for the upcoming year. Each year, we give ourselves 365 days to check off every goal on our list. 365 days may seem like a lot of time, but the days go by faster and faster, and it seems each year of life becomes busier and busier too.

Towards the middle of the year, I find myself disheartened by the amount of boxes still unchecked on the list I had created 6 months prior. As we have just begun another new year, I decided to change my perspective on the necessity to check off every box on my list and instead give myself grace and recognize all of the little accomplishments I will complete daily. I even will congratulate myself for conquering another day in both my professional and personal life, not just celebrating the goals bolded on my list for the year.

Every day God has designed a pathway for us. He provides moments of guidance, challenges us, allows us to find peace, and so much more. Each day He gives us reasons to celebrate who we are in Him and what He accomplishes through us.

So as the year continues, remind yourself, that God is accomplishing "more than I can ask or imagine" because He is working in and through me! Ask the Lord for His guidance and provision! As stated in Psalm 118:24, "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." This is our year, rejoice in all that He provides and make the best of every moment.

Make this year all about celebrating every moment of your life! Blessings to all of you as we begin 2025!
