Good morning,
I would truly appreciate if anyone of you lovely Directors would kindly share you preschool philosophy with me.
Hello Robin,
We recently reviewed and updated our preschool Philosophy at Christ Lutheran Preschool. I have a Power Point meeting agenda that I used to lead my staff through the process of reviewing our philosophy that I could share with you as well, if you are interested.
Good morning, Directors
We have our children scheduled to sing in our Church 3 times a year. They practice twice a week for a month and out of 56 students we had 6 show up at our last event. This is not good at all. How do you impress upon the parents the importance of showing up to these events. All suggestions are welcome.
Blessings,
Marsha MacIntyre
We have our Preschoolers scheduled to sing with our Jr. Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten classes to boost numbers, but with potentially 60 kids total, maybe 20 will show up. Its disappointing but we make sure to post pics of the kids singing on our social media, classroom boards, emails to all and a page in the yearbook, to show off who sang. Our pastor will write a personalized note to each that sang as well, and those are handed out at chapel. Do kids that didn't come feel left out? Maybe, but we are praising those that did come wih the hope that the others will come the next time we sing.
Our church does have a kids' choir for ages K-6th that practices Tuesdays for an hour after school and kids from the community are invited to join as well as from our church and/or school. They sing 10 times a year at church and local community events.
Welcome! Have a look around and join the conversations.
Thank you so much for all your help.
