Daily Dose 6/8/2020

"After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper." 1 Kings 19:12 (NIV)

Dear Lord Jesus, "gently" seems to be the only way I can make it through this day. I'm grateful for Your perfect understanding: for commanding me to do precisely what I need most at this moment. Thank You also for inviting me to lean on You. I need to lean on someone, and You are definitely the most reliable Person I could ever find. You are holy; You are the most High God. It amazes me that You -- the Lord of the universe -- are always available to help me. Always. Available. You are!
