Daily Dose 5/14/2020

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. -Proverbs 3:5-6 Do you still have your stones from LEC 2018? The theme was Living Stones, based on 1 Peter 2:5: "...you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." The two stones I received sit by my laundry room sink. I see them almost daily as I wash my hands, do laundry, and come in and out of our garage. They are a constant reminder for me to put my trust in God's plans - not my own. Although we don't know what the future holds, we know WHO holds the future - He's got us! Thank you, Lord, for your daily reminders that You are in control. Help us remember to trust in you, not ourselves. Thank you for being our guide, our leader, our rock. In Jesus' name, Amen.
