I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. -Philippians 1:3-6
THANK YOU. We all need to hear affirmation, but you especially need to hear it now. You are doing GREAT! You need to hear that many times a day. Educators, you are working SO hard. You are pouring your hearts into your students and families. You are doing things you were not taught to do. You are working more than full-time hours AND, in some cases, teaching your own children full-time, all while trying to keep the fridge full and the house in order. We see you. We appreciate you. We love you.
The daily emails and videos? Parents appreciate it more than you know. That Zoom meeting with your whole class? It's the highlight of your students' week. The prayer time you are doing with each individual student? They (and their parents) will always remember it. The chapel you prepared and shared on Facebook? You are reaching whole families, and beyond, for Jesus. THANK YOU.
THANK YOU for going the extra mile...for being creative when you didn't think you had a creative bone in your body...for showing your preschool students that you miss them...for supporting your junior high and high school students at a time in their lives when they crave community...for being decisive and courageous in your leadership.
Jesus has specifically placed you in your unique position for such a time as this. He has gifted you with strength and courage to wake up each morning and lead. THANK YOU for your partnership in the gospel, and for pointing your students and their families to Jesus during these uncertain times.
